The bomb squad is made up of the collective creators and founders of Cabana Charley's Tiki Bar and Grill Original Bamboo Bomber. First, there would be no Bomber without Cabana Charley's which was founded in 2006 by Diann Denault. The original Charley's is located in Sycamore Illinois, with the second location in Woodridge Illinois in the Seven Bridges Development. The building of the Woodridge location brings the second piece of our "squad", Mark Bohdan of Bay Construction. Mark joined the project as the General Contactor of Charley II. After custom building the most beautiful Bamboo Tiki Bar in the country, Mark had a left over piece of Bamboo which he picked up and drilled 3 holes large enough for shot glasses. He handed it to us and said "here is your official bamboo shooter". The "Bamboo Shooter" sat behind the bar and was occasionally brought out to play. It was late one Friday night when the Bamboo Shooter was brought out to play in the presence of Tom Beaulieu. Tom was part of the development team at Seven Bridges. Tom took one look at the Bamboo Shooter and you could see the light bulb go off "you need to logo this thing up and sell it, you are missing a huge opportunity to promote and market Cabana Charley's" HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM sounded like a plan! The fourth member of the bomb squad is Gail Pistello. Gail is an investor in Charley's (Woodridge) and promptly took it upon herself to create the very first Bamboo Shooter which she quickly renamed the "Bamboo Bomber". It didn't take long for Charley patrons to catch on to the fun of the Bamboo Bomber. Soon people were asking Gail to custom make bombers for their wedding, their favorite sporting team, birthdays, bachelor parties, Buffett and Chesney concerts, NASCAR - there was even a special request for an 18 hole bomber for an entire wedding party!
